VeraFab

For Pharma R&D · Single-cell analysis

Single-cell data your R&D can finally standardise on.

An AI-designed, sealed-cartridge cytometer that makes cell measurement reproducible, automation-ready and machine-standard, and delivers it straight into the workflows you already run.

The bottleneck

Flow cytometry is indispensable in R&D, and it fights you at every step. Daily QC and calibration. Manual compensation. Results that do not compare between instruments, operators or sites. Every run carries hidden, non-standard metadata that is painful to pool, automate or hand to software. As R&D scales and automates, the measurement itself becomes the bottleneck.

What changes with VeraFab

Four things your workflow gets back.

Built so the better data arrives seamlessly, without changing how your lab works.

01 Workflow efficiency

Sample in, answer out.

No manual compensation, no daily QC ritual, no specialist operator at the bench. Calibration lives in the cartridge, so your scientists stop babysitting instruments and get their time back.

02 Reproducible quality

Standardised by construction.

Because calibration sits in the cartridge and not in an operator's hands, you get the same result on every unit and every site. Instrument-to-instrument and site-to-site drift is designed out, not corrected after the fact.

03 Standardised data & analysis

One dataset, everywhere.

Open, machine-readable output with complete, standard metadata, and analysis that means the same thing on every reader. Results pool cleanly across runs, studies and years, with no reconciling of tools or hidden settings.

04 Seamless to your workflow

Fits, doesn't replace.

Runs the panels you already use, outputs standard formats that drop into your pipelines and LIMS, and plugs into automation. The better data shows up without re-tooling how your lab works.

Why it matters for R&D

Reproducibility

Data you can pool across studies, sites and time, not just within a single run.

Throughput

More runs, less bench time. Scale measurement without adding operators or headcount.

Ready for automation

Audit-ready, machine-native data, built for lab automation and downstream AI.

What we're building

A sealed cartridge and a compact reader.

The whole instrument is designed end to end by AI, combining integrated photonics, microfluidics and frontier models. Sample to standardised data, with no manual handling in between. Our first product is the starting point of a platform.

Where we are today. We're early: the full design is validated in simulation, and we're building the first prototype to prove it on real samples and real panels. We're looking for a few flow cores and discovery labs to co-design it with.

Worth a conversation?

Let's compare notes for 30 minutes.

We'd value your read on where measurement and data analysis slow your work down, and what a self-standardising readout would have to do to earn a place in your pipeline. No pitch. If it resonates, we're taking on a few early-access co-design partners.
