Privacy Policy
Last updated 8 July 2026
This policy explains what personal data VeraFab collects when you use verafab.bio or contact us about a design-partner evaluation, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. VeraFab is an early-stage company developing silicon-photonics flow-cytometry technology. If you have any questions, email prathap@verafab.bio.
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you fill in the design-partner form on our site, or a lead form on LinkedIn, we collect your name, work email, organisation, role or job title, country, anything you write in the message field, and the calculator inputs you entered, so we can follow up meaningfully.
- Information collected automatically. Standard analytics such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device or browser type, plus advertising measurement through cookies and pixels from Google and LinkedIn (see Cookies below).
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a bench comparison or evaluation.
- To keep you updated about the evaluation you asked about.
- To understand which channels bring relevant labs to us, and improve the site.
- We do not sell your personal data.
Legal basis (UK and EU GDPR)
When you submit a form, we rely on your consent and on our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry. For analytics and advertising cookies, we rely on your consent where it is required.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site and reach labs:
- Google Cloud (Firestore) stores your form submission.
- Resend sends the notification email that alerts our team to your enquiry.
- LinkedIn, where you submit a LinkedIn lead form, collects your details and passes them to us; that processing is also covered by LinkedIn's own privacy policy.
- Google and LinkedIn advertising tools help us measure our ads.
We do not share your data with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of these providers are based outside the UK and EEA, including the United States. Where your data is transferred, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep design-partner enquiry data for as long as we need it to evaluate and pursue a potential collaboration, and then for a reasonable period for our records. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, object to how we use it, or receive a copy. To exercise any of these, email prathap@verafab.bio. You can also complain to your local data protection authority; in the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Cookies and tracking
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies for basic analytics and to measure our advertising on Google and LinkedIn. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; doing so will not stop you from using the calculator.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
